Self-Myofascial release is a self massage technique designed to alleviate muscle tightness and release muscular dysfunctions throughout the body. These tight areas and dysfunctions manifest from sub-optimal movement patterns, sitting too much, or compensationary movements from injuries (think of limping on one side for a few weeks when you roll your ankle). In this class we are going to show you to release these muscles with a technique you can do right in your own home. After we release the muscles we will either be having a deep stretch or going through simple exercises designed to have you moving the way you were designed
